Alfalfa

Alfalfa $3.30 (2 fl. oz.) $5.35 (4 fl. oz.) G

The name alfalfa means "Father of all Foods." It has also been called the “King of Plants” because of its rich content of vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorine, sodium, potassium, silicon, and trace elements. It is also a good source of carotene (Vitamin A) and Vitamin K, a little known vitamin that assists in blood clotting and has been known to help peptic ulcers.

Alfalfa has eight of the essential amino acids and the highest chlorophyll content of any plant. (Note: Essential amino acids are not made by the body, but have to be supplied daily by our food or supplements. Since these amino acids permit rapid assimilation of plant elements, alfalfa is used as a base in many combinations and vitamin formulas.) Alfalfa also contains natural fluorides to help prevents tooth decay and assist in rebuilding decayed teeth.

Indicated Usages:
Allergies, anemia, appetite, arthritis, blood clotting agent, bursitis, digestion, gout, intestinal scrub, morning sickness, nursing, pituitary gland, rheumatism, tooth decay.
